Metisentry Named 2017 Business Growth Honoree

Metisentry has been named as a 2017 Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Award Honoree. This is our third year in a row and fourth time overall receiving this honor. We are among 44 honorees this year.

The Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Awards program honors businesses from a seven-county region that have achieved significant growth in sales or employment. Businesses headquartered in Summit, Media, Stark, Portage, Wayne, Ashland and Holmes counties are eligible. To qualify, nominees must have demonstrated achievement of superior growth in sales and/or employment over the past five years.

“As a builder of Software as a Service and infrastructure, we believe technology can be a catalyst for growth. At Metisentry, our primary objective is to unlock that for ourselves and others,” Metisentry President and Founder, Marling Engle stated. “We’re excited to see and be a part of that same drive throughout the region.”

Winners are recognized within one of three categories: Service, Manufacturing or Technology. Within each category, specialty awards are also presented for Highest Sales Growth, Greatest Employee Growth, and Best Overall Success Story.  There are three other awards presented as well: The Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, Akron Community Foundation Philanthropy in Business Award and The Huntington Legacy Award.

Metisentry will be formally recognized at the awards ceremony to be held the evening of Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Known as ‘Akron’s premier networking event of the year’, this event is located at John S Knight Center which neighbors our Downtown Akron headquarters. The celebration will begin with cocktails and a networking reception. Following the reception, dinner will be served and awards presented. All winners will be featured in the October edition of Smart Business Akron/Canton.

Team Metisentry will receive a commemorative plaque that will join the other Business Growth Awards on display in our lobby. Follow us on FacebookLinkedIn, and Twitter for live updates and recaps of the event. Be sure to check out pictures from the 2013, 2015 and 2016 Cascade Capital Corporation Business Growth Awards.
